I don't normally tear up, but I did reading your piece. As a person who is rapidly heading toward "geriatric" status, the thought of not having access to physicians who practice *real* medicine is terrifying to me. Knowing that there is someone like yourself out there who is truly standing firm and "doing no harm" fills my heart with hope that if we make it to the end of all of this, there will still be some sanity in places. I have never trusted many Physicians in my life as it is, and the only ones I did trust were the "old fashioned" doctors that still asked me if I was eating right and getting a bit of sun and trying to exercise and not ask me if I'm interested in the latest and greatest vaccine or pill. Over the last 2 years my trust has plummeted to a level that is right even with politicians. What a shame. Thank you for such an incredibly well thought out and hopeful post. I needed that. :)
Hopefully NY has an OSHA law like that one in footnote v, and one day I'll be able to join a class-action and sue the shit out of the DOH and my former employer (assisted living facility).
