Masks are not harmless
Open letter to a public university, and what is that sickly smell when you walk into a room full of masked people?
Duke University research showed that the respiratory droplets that we all emit are aerosolized, by the mesh of masks, to serve as a dispersing tool, carrying viruses farther, to remain longer in the air than the unbroken, close-falling droplets from unmasked people. [1] When you are in the company of masked people, you – whether masked or unmasked - are more likely to inhale that finer mist, an aerosolized microbial stew, deeper into your lungs than if you were around only unmasked people. Also, scatter mechanics from the mesh of a mask, and resulting chaotic collisions of aerosolized droplets, in turn produce a wider contaminated airspace outside the masked mouth than outside the unmasked mouth, in the same way that a screen placed under a faucet disperses the water falling through it. [2]
Also, if you wonder what that sickly, hospital pneumonia ward-like smell is when you walk into a room full of masked people, keep in mind that they are incubating on the order of 100,000 bacterial colonies per hour on the inside surfaces of their masks, [3] predominantly Staph and Pseudomonas, and emitting more bacteria than they would if unmasked after 2.5 hours of use. [4]
My research team compiled the largest body of research in the English language on the hazards of masks. That series of peer-reviewed studies is on https://PDMJ.org, and they are reprinted in my book, The Defeat Of COVID.
Now, even in defiance of Arizona law, one of the largest universities in the US is attempting to mandate masks for students in the fall term 2021. [5] So I wrote the following letter and sent it yesterday.
Dear Sirs and Madam:
In a recently announced decision, ASU demands that students wear masks in classrooms in the fall term, which begins this week. Many serious problems relating to science, law violations and ethics violations arise from this demand. I will summarize them in this letter, with citations to peer-reviewed clinical and laboratory research, as well as state and federal law.
ASU has long prided itself on being a vanguard research university. Let’s examine the research consensus:
1. Masks do not now work, and have never worked, against transmission of viruses,Exhibit 1.https://pdmj.org/papers/masks_are_neither_effective_nor_safe/
2. Masks injure people who wear them and others nearby.Injuries include:
a. Particulate inhalation, Exhibit 2. https://pdmj.org/papers/masks_false_safety_and_real_dangers_part1/
b. Increased risk of respiratory infections, Exhibit 3. Masked individuals incubate 100,000 bacterial colonies per hour on the inside surfaces of their masks (Endnote 23). And after 150 minutes of use, more bacteria (far larger than viruses) are emitted from a masked individual than an unmasked individual (Endnote 5). https://pdmj.org/papers/masks_false_safety_and_real_dangers_part2/
c. Deleterious physiological changes, Exhibit 4. Surgeons suffer from deoxygenation while masked (Endnote 40), and mask-wearing increases mean blood pressure by 12 mmHg and mean heart rate by 27 BPM (Endnote 56). https://pdmj.org/papers/masks_false_safety_and_real_dangers_part3/
d. Increased risk of COVID-19 disease, Exhibit 5. Masked populations have shown higher incidence of COVID-19 (Endnotes 1 to 11). This is due to aerosolization of viral-laden drops through the mesh of a mask (Endnote 13), which travel farther and remain longer in air (Endnote 14), than droplets from an unmasked person, as well as being due to the nozzling effect of expelled breath through side gaps and brow gaps of a mask, followed by further travel of aerosolized viral-laden breath than from an unmasked person (Endnote 15). https://pdmj.org/papers/masks_false_safety_and_real_dangers_part4/
Now let us examine the potential legal violations of a public university forcing the wearing of masks. In addition to the obvious violations of multiple Amendments of the US Bill of Rights, there are other laws that are applicable to this matter:
Potential violations of Arizona law by a public university that requires masks of its students:
Arizona Constitution, Article 2, Section 2: Protecting inalienable rights of all people;
Arizona Constitution, Article 2, Section 6: Prohibiting restriction of speech;
Arizona Constitution, Article 2, Section 12: Protecting the free exercise of religious expression without discrimination;
Arizona Revised Statutes 32-1431: Prohibiting the practice of medicine without a license;
Arizona Revised Statutes 13-2411: Prohibiting the impersonation of a peace officer;
Arizona Revised Statutes 13-1203: Prohibiting assault or attempt to commit injury;
Arizona Revised Statutes 41-1442: Protecting the free and equal access to public accommodations;
Arizona Revised Statutes 41-1492.02: Equal protection of individuals with disabilities;
Arizona Revised Statutes 41-1492.02 B, C and F: Protection of access for individuals with disabilities;
Arizona Revised Statutes 41-1492.01: Protecting the free exercise of religion;
Arizona Revised Statutes 13-2923: Protecting individuals from stalking.
Potential violations of federal law by a public university that requires masks of its students:
US Title 52, Century Rights Act of 1964: Protecting the free and equal access to public accommodations;
US Title 42, Section 12101: Protection of access for individuals with disabilities;
US Americans with Disabilities Act: Protection of access for individuals with disabilities.
I am not an attorney, and have no professional expertise in the law; however, it is clearly self-evident that ASU students have an inalienable right to bodily integrity, and to be free of the imposition of physical harm.
In accordance with the fundamental ethics enshrined in the US Constitution, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Nuremberg Code and the Geneva Declaration, it is of utmost urgency that you immediately rescind mask mandates from the ASU campus, classrooms and other ASU venues.
Sincerely,
Colleen Huber, NMD

I put a link to your mask report and to your book on my website. Now along comes a 1 September study "disproving" what you wrote about masks, the Bangladesh Study. The links fill pages of google searches. At last a "GOLD" standard study! The conclusion: An increase of 29% of surgical mask use correlates with a 11% drop in COVID-19 cases. For those over 60, a 35% reduction! If that is a valid study I will remove those links. I don't want to misinform people. However, I would like to know what kind of selection bias occurred in those in the experimental villages who opted to use the masks. Were they also more health conscious? Did they have better diets? Did they take Ivermectin. What about the older people who knew they were a higher risk? Did they do anything different besides the mask compared to those in villages that weren't given masks? Did the public education facilitate awareness and change other behaviors in the experimental villages? What other confounding variables were not acknowledged? Could the greater physical distancing in the experimental villages have been a factor? Given your research this study seems to be a major outlier. One more rhetorical question. Why don't the studies you cite have three pages of google links? Why don't we see such a response to the CDC study showing masks made no difference? Doesn't fit the Zeitgeist? Help me. I am on the fence and want to get off.
Have you received a response from ASU?
