California Gov Gavin Newsom just signed into law the notorious AB 2098, which muzzles doctors from telling patients the truth about COVID and the vaccines.
The new law is in direct violation of “informed consent” laws.
AB2098 signed by California Governor, in essence, states doctors cannot disclose the harm of vaccines, because if they do, they will lose their medical licenses.
On the hand, Informed Consent laws state doctors and medical providers MUST disclose the potential harms of drugs and vaccines they prescribe patients.
The new law is in direct opposition of the established and necessary patients rights’ law of Informed Consent.
This is absolute annihilation of the 1st Amendment Right to FREE SPEECH. The pharmaceutical manufacturers with their lobbying power are destroying the American Constitution.
The government can NOT make laws that infringe upon people’s rights to speak, including doctors’ right to speak!
It is blatant tyranny and in direct contradiction to the constitution but even more fundamental - it is anti-scientific and anti-human health. Shameful.
Thank you for all your work - since the beginning. I am not as optimistic as you that the courts will get this right. Our legal system has been corrupted. In Spring of 2020 op-eds by distinguished attorneys appeared stating why social platforms had a right to censor. I was astonished by such opinions. My constitutional law experience is limited to one year from law school but that was enough to know this wasn't true. The reason we have courts is that some disputes are not black and white and (like science) must be explored through vigorous examination. It took me five minutes to find Pruneyard v. Robbins a seminal case that holds a state may provide more first amendment protection than what is provided by the federal government. California does this under its constitution. Yet, I don't know if we have enough judges with integrity to examine this issue under the proper lens. Pre-Covid I went to a function to introduce new state appellate judges. I was not impressed. I didn't hear anything about their dedication to jurisprudence but I did hear about lifestyle choices.
By happenstance during the lockdowns, I read the biography of Dovey Roundtree Johnson who worked tirelessly for civil rights chipping away at Plessy v. Ferguson. So we may have a long road ahead of us but it is a worthy road.

Who's science? Or, perhaps what science?
The science we've all been following in this reality clearly contradicts the grandized and worshipped falsehoods.
Will the doctors in California and the US finally wake up and mobilize out of their fear-state as now they themselves are more directly under attack? Perhaps they could learn some things from those brave enough who have already been holding the line maintaining personal and professional integrity.

This one is likely to be litigated, and likely to be overturned. And as more people come to understand the extensive damage caused by two years of obsequious submission to corruption, the inevitable rebellion will remove not only the laws that produced this disaster, but the bureaucrats who directed it. We're in for a few messy years.
I wonder though if this idiotic totalitarian measure can backfire when the first doctor litigates with evidence proving the danger of the vaccines using widely published data. In other words the misinformation is prosecuting truth. What then?
Would the Board be permitted to exclude the evidence? Could the doctor then appeal using the excluded evidence in Federal Court? Would the 9th Circuit dare to not allow the evidence admissable? Would the Supreme Court refuse an appeal from the 9th circuit decision? A can o' worms
Also, correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't a deliberate assault on the Constitution, and on the rights protected therein, constitute treason? Isn't that the charge these politicians should be facing?
How ironic that subsections (a) through (c) of this despicable law are themselves blatant (disinformation) misinformation. Can we remove Newsom and the legislators who voted for it from office for peddling it — and bar them from ever holding office?
I'd like to see Marbury v Madison as a silver lining, but they will probably be able to defend the new CA law on the basis of the official FDA and CDC positions.
What can one say after reading items a, b, and c, which of course are absolute blatant falsehoods? What’s so frightening is that these things no longer seem to matter: truth, honesty, logic, morality, ethics, laws, kindness... We must all nonviolently, but completely, refuse to comply (masks, mandates, injections, censorship, closures, ‘emergencies’, ‘rules’ restricting visits to loved ones in nursing homes & hospitals, interference in the doctor-patient relationship...
