What exactly were they giving as a smallpox vaccine to the general public in these 19th century mass vaccination campaigns and what was the problem with it?
My understanding is that someone noticed milk maidens who were contracting cowpox, a mild form of smallpox/chickenpox etc, were not getting smallpox or only got mild cases of it. That's what they used as the first vaccine - an individual cow pox postule or something. Obviously, you cannot vaccinate millions of people with individual cow pox postules....
HOWEVER, and as I have commented on your other articles, I suspect (in addition to the spiked protein being BAD) there are significant mfg/QA issues with the mass production of delicate mRNA vaccines along with mishandling in the supply chain (e.g. not kept at proper temperatures) up until they are administered by people who may not know what they are doing.
