Masks became an article of faith, of belief near religious. Once embedded it's difficult for believers to accept their error. The CDC has failed in that regard to admit error. The press has not helped by refusing to accept that masks were of little utility and might even been harmful.

On a side note, the Police Officer that showed up (if this is the incident I learned about the other day) was sitting on the fence and seemed to have forgotten their oath to uphold The U.S. Constitution. They didn't understand how that oath relates to the ridiculous medical tyranny we've been experiencing since the plandemic started.

They showed that after 62 healthy volunteers were exposed to the alleged virus by breathing the fetid air of very sick ‘flu’ patients and having them repeatedly cough in their faces, much to the researchers surprise; only one developed a sore throat and not one developed influenza like illness at all.
