Thank you so much for publishing this. I was locked down in Spain and couldn't wait to get back home to South Africa when flights resumed. I knew deep down that the spirit of Africa will not embrace some whimsical political or commercial decision to treat people like laboratory rats. That simply doesn't fly in Africa. When I got home at the end of 2020, I felt I could breathe again, stupid face nappies notwithstanding. Most of us wore them below the nose, anyway. First-worlders have become dissolute. They have paid the price.
