I suspect understanding our immune system is equal in complexity to understanding how our brain works. In a very simply look at regulation of Calcium we see an extraordinary amount of chemical signalling between the Parathyroid, PTH, the gut (where K2 is synthesized from K), to kidney function and our Calcium reservoir, bones. All the buffer the blood to a narrow range supporting heart function. Sometimes it's remarkable to me how we ever evolved into such a complex system.

I ask because a lady friend of mine has taken both Covid shots, as well as both boosters. Would this cause a full blown flare up of Lupus, and be potentially fatal? Any insight on this matter will be most appreciated. Thank you all in advance!
I have seen this in one lupus patient, flare post COVID vaccine. However, I believe it is also known to happen in past years, following earlier vaccines, and I saw more such patients in the past. (People come to me with cancer far more than lupus, which necessarily skews my perspective.)

According to docs in the hospital system, any patient with a vaccine status of “unknown” is considered unvaccinated by public health.
As are people who aren't "up to date" on their jabs.
