Affirmative action for Pharma should end. The breadth of available medicine and doctors are suppressed by Pharma, with censorship of alternative voices, which is not a benefit to the public.
The few times I've been to an allopathic "doctor" in my life, the first thing they have done is pulled out the prescription pad. I don't think I've ever left an allopathic clinic *without* a prescription of some kind. The last time I went, I told the young doctor that I had been trying to relieve my issue with food and the "doctor" said, "We shouldn't be using food to try and fix things with our body" (that's absolutely what she said! I was shocked) That was my final time. I'll never go back. The only thing I would see an allopath for now would be for a traumatic injury. I've had it with this "medical" system. I'm still extremely concerned by the amount of people in this country (and probably the world) who are blindly and *obediently* "doing what they are told" with the only thing they truly own from birth to death: Their body. Not "allowing" people to choose alternative treatments and especially not allowing practitioners of *all* types of medicine to the table is just another crime against humanity.
Doctors are like anybody else. Some are pretty good at a lot of things, some are very good at a few things, some aren't very good at anything. Like any employee, they perform better when properly supervised. Good patients make good doctors. Too many people these days are ignorant, helpless and passive, blindly accepting whatever the white coat tells them.
Well said, I totally agree. This year above all I’ve really learned that some doctors really aren’t good thinkers, so you have to be willing to do some research.
A study a few years ago showed that hospital patients were discharged on average 1 day sooner if they usually had one visitor in the room with the patient. And the study 'visitors' knew nothing about healthcare. Patients stayed at the hospital on average for 4.5 days so a 1 day earlier discharge is a significant improvement.
I haven’t seen the study but that totally makes sense. When we’re surrounded by and supported by loved ones, it stands to reason that it would help along the healing process.
Wish I could find the study but if I recall correctly, the visitors were recruited by the study so I believe the patients didn't know them. I think the visitors mainly read books and kept to themselves. The study leaders may have simply told the patients that the visitors were observers but did not let the staff know that the visitors were part of a study.
So the study seemed to indicate that the staff felt some additional accountability due to the extra person in the room, presumed to be a friend of the patient. This then possibly translated into hospitalists and specialists spending a bit more time with the patient and following up on labs and entering orders quicker.
Early discharge isn't necessarily a good thing. They might discharge sooner because they're tired of having complainers underfoot and just wanted to get rid of them. A lot of healing is psychological, so some cases might have just healed a little faster for patients with brighter outlook.
True, it could go either way. On the plus side for leaving early, you reduce your risk for Healthcare Acquired Infections like Cdiff which account for 100,000 deaths per year.
I have Hashimoto's. It was formally diagnosed after I went to a chiropractor aka holistic health practicioner. This was after being on thyroid meds for years and having three miscarriages. I finally went the out of pocket cost route (holistic health) after a few rounds with an endochronologist who said I was perfectly healthy even though I clearly was not and was getting worse. The chiropractor seemed to know what was wrong with me when I walked in the door and ran labs (never run by the "normal" doctor) that proved his hypothesis. He encouraged me to change my diet and add nutritional supplements. Suddenly, I feel better than I have in years. Follow-up labs planned in the next few weeks. It is long overdue that holistic health is brought to the table and covered by insurance.
Slandermen, you are peddling one of those theories I formally considered a conspiracy theory with no merit :) I am COVID 19 Vaccine Free and officially Vaccine Hesitant, though late to the game on VH; we need a new term, like Vaccine Informed (my pediatrician is going to go bonkers next time my kids need a vaccine and I ask for the inserts!!!!). Thanks for this information. I will raise iodine with my practitioner; the other is already covered.
Excellent article, Colleen. If it wasn’t for practitioners like you, I am not sure where I would be today! Thank God for all of you who have saved countless lives from drug addiction, or deadly side effects from useless drugs, and actually finding out the true reason for people’s illnesses and physical ailments! But of course we all have learned that its all about the money, Big Pharma, and collusion by the AMA brainwashed doctors, the FDA, CDC, etc. My first jobs were in the insurance industry and I always asked back in my twenties why they weren’t interested in preventative medicine versus reactionary medicine that really never treated the illness, but caused more issues from drug side effects and ignoring the real health issues. Then people would get new health issues from their neglect of their actual condition and the deadly drugs they put them on. Thank God I learned about homeopathic and naturopathic medicine early on due to curiosity and finding a better way! I explained to you in other posts the toxic and deadly asthma medicine they put me on in my early teens that almost killed me and it was vitamins that got me off that deadly protocol!
When I was 19 I sustained a pretty devastating fall and right a way they wanted to do surgery on my hip and back. I said no!! I went to a chiropractor, kept working out and strengthened my back and hips with exercise, and amazingly at 66 I am still doing great. If I have any issues, I go back to the chiropractor and also get regular massages. After watching my uncles suffer and die from horrific back surgeries, I vowed never to have it done because back then surgeries meant even worse pain and suffering, and even today, they don’t work as they should.
Then in my forties I was trying to get a diagnosis for migraines and all the neurologist wanted to do was put me on toxic medicines without even doing any tests to try and determine the cause. I went to a naturopath and he determined in under ten minutes time that I had candida in my gut! That was causing the migraines. It was from the antibiotics and hormones in our foods. I thought I ate a very healthy diet, but who knew the meats were so toxic. I cleaned that up in under six months by switching to organic and all grass fed and organic meats!!! Odd I haven’t had a migraine headache in almost 20 years! So there are three excellent reasons why I will never trust mainstream medicine ever again and I preach it every chance I get. God bless all of you who persist and fight for what you do!
You forgot to mention Dr. Mercola https://www.mercola.com/ ... I am sure that I am not the only person now more interested in at-least hearing about alternatives to western aka big pharma medicine/health care e.g. traditional Chinese medicine, old remedies our grandparents etc used for illnesses...
I wrote articles for his site in 2004-2006, which were later incorporated in my first book, Choose Your Foods Like Your Life Depends on Them. A number of us have direct experience with him.
I keep trying to heart your posts but it says "something went wrong". Thank-you for your work and writing--I learn so much from your posts!!
I discovered acupuncture decades ago, because I am allergic to ALL antibiotics except sulfas, and had a case of bronchitis. Went to the acupuncture school on the advice of a friend. Fantastic discovery, cannot recommend TCM enough, and if you have a local school, it's quite affordable, and I've never had a bad experience being a guinea pig for the students. Last time I did so-called trad medicine was for a broken bone, didn't have a choice, as I saw it, but I was back to the "alternative" therapies to heal it asap after the cast came off.
Be glad you aren’t reimbursed by insurance. Once insurance ‘covers’ you, they tell you what you can or can’t prescribe and if you don’t follow along, they drop you. We should get rid of health insurance outside of major medical, and allow self pay and HSA’s.
I'm on Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM). You basically ask the healthcare providers for the self pay price and a payment plan for anything over $1000, submit your charges to CHM, and get reimbursed 2 months later. I've been reimbursed twice during the four years with CHM. It works and I'm saving hundreds of dollars each month.
The medication business model is highly complex. I've followed the industry for years. I would love for Medicare, Medicaid and the VA to negotiate prices. The immediate result would be for all other countries to pay more. Of course, China will steal the IP. What will surprise many is that so will Canada, Australia, Philippines, New Zealand and half a dozen other countries. How do I know this? They already have appropriated patents for their domestic markets.
As an aside $22,221 buys an awful lot of flights to the UK where doctors will never ask you to pay despite the government putting mechanisms in place years ago for that to happen. As I understand it the British Medical Association (BMA) has told doctors they must refuse to take any financial details and must simply treat anyone who turns up at the hospital. That leads to the ridiculous situation where very rich Indian friends of my family who live in the UK have for decades paid for the flights for their family members living in India to come to the UK for free medical treatment rather than paying for more expensive medical treatment in India. They simply tell their NHS doctor that their family members were here visiting and that they "had a funny turn" or whatever and they are whisked straight into hospital, patched up for another few months or years and then put back on the plane to India all free gratis. This has been going on in the NHS forever hence the recent government rules change to charge for treatment that as I say the BMA are openly flouting so why shouldn't Americans or indeed anyone else cheat in this manner also? Get yourself a British friend and you too can come over and "have a funny turn"and be patched up for absolutely no charge.
I cannot function in polite company. I could give a shit to engage these people on their Satanic planes - we need to bring our playing field to the discussion.
I am not living in a world where people are openly fucking children.
And the Sigma Aldrich chart is the simplified version.
Everyone should take note of the prominent DONATE button on the legal web page. Litigation is currently the best non violent means to fight the tyranny. As with any fight, they need ammunition.
I happen to believe that the cause of most people's early (under 70 years old) ailments are caused by malnutrition. Malnutrition is obviously caused by eating garbage low nutrient artificial foods. Many of these foods should have warning labels just like cigarettes do. Other problems are manufactured fiction. High blood pressure and high cholesterol depend on where they set an artificial definition of high. Now we are in a new era where the drugs and vaccines are a common cause of illness. The covid vaccines are not vaccines. These poison injections are designed to lower the human population. Obviously that is not going to be good for your health.
Even publicly accessible peer-reviewed information is very damning of vaccines, in the results sections, not in the abstract and conclusion where writers are forced to sing along with the usual choir to get past editors.
When editors demanded that I falsify my results in order to be published, I was done with even approaching those crooked journals.
They have to censor you. The truth will be exposed if they don't. And the truth makes them look really bad.
The truth has already been exposed, but they still win if we submit to the lies. Flight or fight are always our choices. Flight isn't working.
Yep take them apart.

“Let your food be your medicine, and your medicine be your food” Hippocrates, I think.

And less exposure to medical errors. Also high fatality rates.

Insurance is essential in an incompetent society.

Do you think the mechanic would find anything wrong ?!?!
Except you're not bringing them your car.

When I got ill I had zero desire to talk to a doctor luckily nothing fell off
I took melatonin and that got me thru
Recommended on mercola
Surprised they haven't made it illegal or called it
Bad name.
Melatonin helped me and is essentially harmless, else I'd not have used it
I think for those who can't get other trx
Melatonin...
It was just during the Flubah
No I don't recommend sustain use of any pills
I don't like pills
If I say something helped me that speaks volumes
It worked for me is all I know
Used intermittent I think melatonin ok
Obviously best to eat well and all to avoid ill
we all like a good help occasionally
Melatonin
Name is accurate
Mellow tone down....
Perfect for occasional needs and Ill
No prscrpx necessary
Bioweapon hacksxxxine is jive juice
True
And most so called medicine
Most doctors
All mostly lies and murder
That will be an interesting conversation, as most drugs suppress one or more of the metabolic pathways, disrupting others in this synergistic system.
